Handshake App
Handshake is a fictional app that allows freelancers and clients to manage, track, and budget projects. It was the foundational concept behind my practice exercises throughout the UX Content Collective (previously known as UX Writers Collective) UX Writing Fundamentals course.
My Role
Edit UI text and microcopy. Give feedback on design and functionality.
Main Goal
Prepare onboarding flow mockups for a presentation.
GloZ Inc. Rebranding
I worked at GloZ Inc., a localization service provider, for just under a year as a proofreader. During my time there, I was one of the go-to proofreaders, but I was also tasked with writing and editing UX copy for our upcoming rebranding. This work helped me put the skills I learned from my UXCC course into practice,
My Role
Main Goal
Edited and wrote UX copy for our new about page and services page. Gave feedback on website design to our UX designers and feedback to the rebranding agency we worked with.
Review copy for appropriate use of tone, brand voice, and grammatical accuracy. Make edits and write UX copy as we near launch.
